Black and Bleu Salad
blackened beef tenderloin + mixed greens + bleu cheese + tomatoes + apples + crispy onions + balsamic vinaigrette
Looking for something crisp and light? Our Black and Bleu Salad has tender filet sliced on top of a bed of greens mixed with bleu cheese, tomatoes, granny smith apples, crisp onion straws and a house-made balsamic vinaigrette.
For the Enthusiast:
Bleu cheese is a happy mistake. Cheeses from certain regions were originally produced and stored in caves, where the mold was naturally present. It was most likely that the unique tang of the cheese was discovered by accident; some lucky cheese producer was the first to discover that mold can be delicious.
Pairs Well With:
A rich, creamy Chardonnay, Riesling or a medium-bodied red
